The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Fighters Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative featuring angels, fiends, and dark forces expanding in influence within the city.

Heads-up: Spoilers for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The third episode concluded with a major cliffhanger and introduced the premier party of characters who will separate from the primary party to undertake their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

With an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Introduction, weaving together the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might look unsuited, but the events of episode 3 show why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the team knows exactly where to proceed after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose demise started the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, assaulting the character, and swiping all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The traitor then settled his debts and ran away to a fortified location in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks revenge.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the region and advises that it is a hostile environment.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his relatives’ demands to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could help the team access places they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter vowed a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now go with him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The healer turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to travel to Timmony in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party will be absent the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to round up the Questers and Strategists groups.

Fans can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
